3 Steps Every Person Should Know To Make Sparks Fly?

Conventional wisdom says, "Start with dry wood"

A new lifestyle has emerged.  Millions are searching for a more meaningful social, work/career, family and community connections.  The traditional methods aren’t working any longer or we crave a more exciting approach and something to get passionate about.  How can you make sparks fly in your life?

  1. Evaluate your location - Imagine you are trying to start your fire on top of a windy hill or its raining outside. What do you suppose is going to happen to your attempts to build a fire? To "evaluate your location" means taking a careful assessment of where you are currently.  Here are a few questions to consider: What are the obstacles facing you right now?  What exactly am I dissatisfied or overwhelmed with?  By assessing where you are currently in your life, you are investing in your future and taking strategic steps forward.
  2. Identify your objective - Do you want a blazing bonfire?  Or just enough to keep you warm?  What is it that you really want in your life? Some of us know, some think we know and some never give it any thought.  This is where you dream big!  Nothing is right or wrong. Take the time to visualize and go through all areas of your life.  Think of: Who you want to be. What you want to do. Things you want to have. Nothing is too big or too small.  The only thing you have to do is believe it’s important to you.  Note: Don’t be concerned with anyone else’s wants for you or what you think you should answer.  It’s about you baby.
  3. Develop a course of action - Now imagine again your fire.  You know the location (on a hill, in a cave or forest), and any concerns regarding it (is it damp, windy, dry, etc.).  You know what you want to accomplish (bonfire, warmth, cooking, etc.). Now, it’s just a matter of choosing the “right action”.  This is collecting the supplies for the fire and the labor required to get that spark started.  If you have done steps 1 and 2 correctly, there won’t be any problem.  The energy (i.e. the spark) will ignite because you have hit on your passion!  The “right action” will automatically seem obvious and you will sail on effortlessly.  If you haven’t done it correctly, then you need to revisit steps 1 and 2 again.  You are returning because you haven’t identified your personal passion yet.

In summary, to ignite passion and have sparks flying you must take time to identify where you are, where you are going, and how to get there.  By taking this time and investing it in yourself, you will be delighted to see how easily and energized you will b move toward your goals.  Try it, it works!
